Ok ladies I need help. Job searching has got me down & I just don’t know where to go from here. Common theme in job postings I was seeing was a desire for a CERTIFIED Scrum Master. So I studied my butt off & got my certification. Yet I’m being told that even though my resume is impressive I need more experience. How are you supposed to gain experience if you can’t even get your foot in the door with the desired certifications & “an impressive resume”? All suggestions welcomed cause I’m at a loss

The company I work for in finding out more and more that is very much a ‘boys club’. There are no women managers and recently I found out that a guy that has worked there less time than I have, has less a lesser degree than I have and is in a lower position than I am is making more money than I am. Also, according to google, l’m very under paid. (If that is a reliable source for pay.) As you’re typically not supposed to discuss pay at work, what do I do?

So today, 2 of my new hires (9 weeks in) said that they don't like 9am meetings. We have 30mins sprints every Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. And the comment came up as I mentioned the idea of collaborating with a stakeholder on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am.

But I find that culturally I’ve been fighting this mental space that says don’t make waves, work hard because it’s the right thing to do.
