What’s your favorite must try restaurants that’s open in the city this summer? Visiting for the first time. No dietary restrictions and open to any cuisines (preferably something uniquely chicago besides deep dish and portillos)

Has anyone told their boss/manager about their social anxiety and how it impacts their work? Is this a bad idea?

I am currently working in the final round of interviews for a job I think I’d enjoy for a $10k pay raise with far less stress than my current job. That said, it’s a step down from my current responsibilities and I’m nervous it’ll hold me back from my eventual goals. I’m burnt out right now and in a masters program, so less stress is very enticing. Should I take it if offered or hold out for a true promotion/upward move? Will it hurt me down the road to take this job?

Baby Professional here - I was just given the second half of a promotion into Tier 2 for my company, on course for a Tier 3 promo in the next 6mo to 1yr. It's a smaller company and I believe they are willing to pay to grow my talent as I've already done very well with deliverables and all metrics thrown my way.

My questions is how much do I ask for at the Tier 3 promotion? Since they divided the Tier 2 promo into two smaller rasies, I've landed at 55K. I want to ask for an appropriate amount.

Anybody have side hustles that are completely different from what they do on their job? I’m currently working as a Product Manager building some APIs but really my biggest skill is data analysis and creating work for engineering teams. Not really sure how I could use these skills to build something of my own. The only thing I can think of would be freelancing on the side and doing sql/excel analysis for clients on like Upwork or something.

I just feel like this hasn’t been said, but tik tok is actually a great side gig. Depends on how you use it, but an example is a tik tok dedicated to just business wear….you’ll start getting people sending you clothes for free.
