Hi This is Mriganka Das working on Big Data Analytics in Nomura . My total experience is 6+ yrs and relevant in Big Data is 2.8 yrs .If there is any openings in any of the Big 4 pls do let me know..
Do big 4 firms care about where you work? Say you want to work remotely in a different city, is there tax implications (they make you report your physical work location)
Has anyone moved from audit to recruiting within the big 4? How did you do it? How is the job?
How difficult is it to be counseled out at Big 4 firms? Is it common or do you really have to mess up? Are any of the firms more cutthroat than the others?
Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls
Anyone work in Transaction Services FDD at a mid-tier firm (let’s say top 10)? what are the big differences between big 4 and mid tier FDD? Pros and cons?
How is IBM Enterprise Strategy? WLB, Comp vs B4, team culture, work overall. Appreciate any insight- thanks!
Anyone know anything about Smartsheet? Have a potential offer to leave big 4 for a 25% increase. Worth it?
Is a Senior Manager at IBM comparable to a Senior Manager at B4/ MBB, in terms of responsibility, expertise, etc?
Is the CVA or ABV valued by big 4 at all?
If I have an offer from a competing B4 dated 6months ahead, do I need to notify when I accept/sign or that 6months later?
At the big 4, why is cyber security usually in risk advisory/assurance and not in consulting?
Hi fishes :) Need some suggestions from the PWC peeps. My directorial round with PWC is scheduled for tomorrow. Any suggestions please? What are the probable questions will be? I've asked for 12LPA but they said the budget is 9LPA..I've 6.5yrs of experience as a BA & scrum master (ctc : 6.55 LPA) What do you all suggest? Shall I consider pwc as It's a part of BIG 4 and other facilities and brand-value or capegemini/Cerner india (the pay scale will be higher most probably) Thanks in advance.
Have been pinged for a possible role as Director of Operations at a promising looking startup with a 50%% pay increase & equity. It looks like an amazing opportunity.. but my husband and I have just started trying for our first kid, and I'm not sure about leaving the stability and benefits of Big 4, even though I feel like I have run out of career growth here. Has anyone changed jobs at a similar point, or worked at a startup as a new mom, that might be able to share perspective or opinions?
I am working for 12-14 hours a day in a non client facing role at one of the big 4. What are some of the exit opportunities I can think of in the next 1-2 years? I want to have a 9-6 job with decent pay.
I’m a strategy consultant in a brand/design firm, specialising in traditional branding, innovation and experiences. Was wondering about avenues to join Big 4 or even MBB as an experienced hire to work in consumer branding/innovation. Can I go in as a specialist? Would I need an MBA on top of my business undergrad?
I didn’t send a thank you email following a third interview on Monday, because up until that point, everything had been so quick and I thought the interview went so great, that I would hear back quickly. It’s now Friday and no word. Did I just screw myself out of my dream job?

Recommendations on getting COVID tests on Oahu?
Have you were been asked to do a ballpark budget and provide director options before officially getting hired for a project? Feels like a lot of phone calls and research if they're still interviewing other candidates...
Was at an event recently. Seems like advertising really only cares about diversity as it applies to white women. I think this industry wants to stay white.
I’m at 71k now at 1 YOE. Is there any good reason to take a pay cut for a new job? (Assuming I don’t get laid off or fired and have to scramble for cash)
Here for my check-up. One specific question- do I need a case-study for the first piece? Thank you ♥️ www.shevekanandan.com
Is general consensus that Revolut’s interview process not worth the massive effort given WLB, culture etc?
Is it worth jumping to Deloitte (offer in hand currently) in order to position myself better for FAANG 3-5 years down the line? Other options include staying at BAH or trying to get into MBB.
26F asked for housing advice earlier and back asking for more :). Will be starting as an associate at S&C at the end of the month. Current financial situation is - ~200k of student loans; ~80k of investments; and a starting salary of 200K. I have no financial support form family and am sure that I will never receive any money/inheritances. I plan to leave Big Law as soon as I can financially afford to do so. (Continued below)
What do you all think about AWS cloud practitioner Cert? Not worth if I'm studying for cissp?

How hard is it to transition from medical device (e.g., neuromodulation) to pharma/biotech?
How do I answer “why are you leaving Deloitte” in an interview without trashing my current job? The truth is that Deloitte has low pay, uninteresting work, and extremely slow career progression with little opportunity to differentiate oneself from peers, so I am looking at other firms which don’t have those issues.
