I recently got an offer for the Accenture senior strategy consultant development program. I was wondering if everyone gets the same base salary or if there’s room for negotiation? Also, they haven’t told me my start date, so I was wondering if people have gotten their start dates and when they might be? Any insight appreciated!!

The Tesla doesn’t come remotely close to the EQS if you’re looking for a luxury automobile.

I’ve tried to bring myself to like Teslas, but I can’t get over how bare bones the car is. Also, it’s conveys road noise like a little, 1990s Hyundai four banger. It’s quite off putting. The only good things, in my estimation are, the acceleration, the OTA updates and the self drive. All of which are now coming to other brands as they enter the EV space.
I’d stick with the MBs of the world and get the benefits of both worlds.
Not a big fan of providing Elon Musk with anything.
no
Car is absolute garbage compared to the Lexus I gave up for it.
From an EV standpoint, none of the other competitors are even close from a range perspective. Add in the size of the Tesla supercharger network, and I found it impossible to justify purchasing a different EV. I found that the others basically took their vehicles and changed the power plant to batteries. Tesla built its car around its power plant. This is an important distinction. What people fail to mention sometimes is that all the bells and whistles that you think are missing in Teslas take power to operate. That’s part of the reason that Tesla range is 100 miles or more greater than it’s competitors.
Actually it doesn’t in the real world. We can revisit the discussion after Lucid begins producing in quantity. For now, it’s numbers are just not statistically significant. Even Rivian has sold multiples of Lucid.
I’ve owned high end Porsches, BMWs and Audis. The luxury element is interesting when comparing old school German with Tesla. The fit, materials, finish etc is definitely superior but I felt like we’re were comparing an exquisite Vertu Cell Phone with an iPhone. Sure objectively the former is more of a luxury item but the latter has moved the game on so far that the former is now a dinosaur. I did look at the Lucid recently and that’s closer but I’ve never found an American car maker that can match German automobile aesthetics.
Have had the model Y for a couple of years and very happy with it. It does feel more like a practical car than a luxury car. If I were buying a Tesla today I might more strongly consider the S or X. All that being said teslas are still cool and the supercharger network is clutch in those few times when you can’t charge at home.
Wait 1 year and get the Volvo ex90
Yeah the ex90 looks great.
Service and quality sucks.
IMHO, buyers feel altruistic on their purchase without consideration of the process required to source the minerals needed for E Batteries. Nickel, Cobalt & Lithium mining is highly destructive, ironically uses the worst kind of coal for extraction. And now the miners are exploring the ocean floor without serious consideration of the consequences. Do your diligence.
Yeah let's face it if you are buying a Tesla it isn't because you want to virtue signal...it's another type of signaling.
The only thing I regret about it is getting the third row. This is just a personal preference since I have no kids and just don't need it. Ideally having a family in the future though so I wouldn't even say it's a full regret, it's just not something I need atm.
Lol this is me right now debating buying. a Tesla y with seven seats or five seats ?
So for a single person you wouldn’t recommend ? Do the seven seats take up the storage area ?
Don't own, but have driven. Pros: incredible performance. Cons: the car itself (interior, doors, body) feels extremely cheap and shoddy.
Quality of the interiors... I switched from a Mercedes to a Model X and seriously felt like a downgrade when I sat inside the vehicle. I know, a Model X in every accord should feel like an upgrade, but the interiors and the feeling when you sit in the car was a letdown.
Yes, it is good. I have Model 3. Like it a lot.
No doubt. I am basing it more on tech upgrades and not so much on the quality of leather grain on the seat. You are literally driving a computer with Tesla Model 3/x/y/s. IIHS rating is great too.
OP is debating Merc vs Tesla 3 in his/her mind not Bentley.

I love Mercedes and can’t wait until the charging network in the US isnt crap and I’ll get one again. But if you want an EV today, Tesla is the way to go due to the amazing charging network that’s always there and ready to go. The Y is fine; it’s not a MB but I didn’t get it for that.
It’s a great car. I have one. There is no negative. No gas. Electric is cheaper. No maintenance. What more do you need?
Virtually everyone above who has looked at Tesla and gone with a true luxury car disagrees, so I don’t question your experience, but as far as “no negative”… LOL.
Ive owned a model S for eight years. One of the best purchases, ever. Zero maintenance. Only thing I’ve done on it is replace tires three times and have 130k miles so far…still runs like it did day one. Build quality is trash if you compare it to the $100k+ luxury cars that you would typically pay the same price for
I’ve had the Y performance for 6 months. In general I’m super happy with it. I had read about the stiff ride ahead of time but am ok with it. Ridiculous acceleration and amazing amount of space behind the second row. Only been into shop once to fix a few thing missed in build such as a MIS adjusted door hinge, and a back hatch rattle, but nothing big at all. Mileage not as good as advertised but that is largely due to use of “sport” mode and a pretty heavy foot.
I’ve got a model S performance with FSD. The self driving name is a misnomer but it’s actually really useful. I frequently use it as a support aid on long drives. I’m still in control but it reduces the workload.
Having just bought a new Mercedes, I’ll say it’s a matter of preference — I don’t think Tesla is luxurious in the least, and I care about that more than any benefits a Tesla offers.
