I would look T Jackson national Flex DB contract

Jackson

Jackson Flex DB is great, but their fees are way up there and if the client is still alive when the contract value gets close to $0, you'll have to turn the income off. I think fees are around 5%

If you use their advisory product fees are much lower

Their advisory product doesn't have the DB feature though. Seems like that product is popular for advisors who are 6 and 63. Not 66 or 65.

Nothing in NY because our state SUCKS for VAs...

Jackson if taking income. Prudential has a 7% simple yearly stepup that might be better for straight db.

I’m coming back to my former job after 6 months and leaving my current position in one of the most toxic places I have ever been. Never thought I could be harassed in so many ways in such short period. Gladly, I left the door and they’re taking me back. Even though it’s a huge relief, I’m worried about how to explain to my coworkers why I’m back. I’m way too vulnerable to lay out the truth. Anyone here to give me a useful tip on how to handle this?

What do you do if the partner who hired you is nice in social settings but awful to work for? And you can’t seem to escape from working for that partner. This partner doesn’t respond to your emails for critical issues that you need input on, doesn’t return your phone calls and voicemails and throws you under the bus in front of the client to blame you for her mistakes. The seniors are too busy. Just joined this firm so lateraling isn’t a viable option.
