Shall we hope for market adjustment in salary?

PwC Hello all,
I'm a chartered accountant in India having a total work experience of 9 years in internal audit including SOX, Enterprise Risk Management and process based audits. Currently, I'm working as Senior Associate in PWC and my company is offering me an international transfer to USA. My preferred location is Los Angeles, CA. I need to know a salary range that I can expect, given my experience and preferred location.
My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)
What is your best salary negotiation tip ?

Anyone want to refer me for a Google role?
My first job coming out of boot camp paid 85k. However it’s not the salary it’s the persistence in finding a job. I probably had 200 interviews before I landed my first. It’s be hard for boot camp grads sometimes to get a job. I still have classmates that still haven’t found one.
Yeah just don’t get discouraged and keep learning. I am now on my 3rd job since I graduated, and once you land that first one, the next are much easier to land. I interview at a place next week for $165k so I would prioritize experience maybe over the salary. And if you can, be open to internships, that’s what really helped me land my first. If you can just get the experience the money and jobs will come.
Short answer: the same as a college grad to start.
Long answer: depends on a lot of variables. What metro area? What language and frameworks? Any tech background? Some bootcamp grads find it a little more difficult to secure interviews for entry level positions, but the picture gets more complicated as your career progresses. Bootcamp grads (in my experience) tend to have some CS theory knowledge gaps that could, but not necessarily will, impact their career at all. For all intents and purposes, you’ll have the same trajectory as a degree holder
Thank you
It really depends on so many factors. Your specific knowledge base, where you live, whether you have any internships or other experience on your resume, etc.
I live in Atlanta and it looks as if I should be looking for some internships prior to graduation.
So the bootcamp will primarily work in your favor in terms of the knowledge itself. Then the shift you're making will be like breaking into the role from the same perspective of anyone, including new grads etc. I think it's reasonable to expect that you'd be getting under $100k, but not below $65k.
