OKAY. So I heard my boss (VP) telling his peer that he is letting go off a female employee because she is pregnant and her absence affects the project delivery.
How do I handle this? Should I speak to HR? If so my boss will know I snitched on him.

Are there any single moms in this group? How do you cope with juggling a career as an attorney and being a full time solo parent with limited support? To what extent do you just hide your personal life/situation from work? Do you feel like fellow attorneys and specifically the partners look down on you because of this? Newly pregnant (~8wks) and unable to take my ADD medication unless I “think the risk of not taking it is more harmful to me than taking it could be to the baby”. (How do you even evaluate that?! Every study I’ve looked at is inconclusive.)

My 12hr workdays are becoming 14-16 without medication and it’s brutal when combined with morning (read: all day) sickness. I’m exhausted. If not for the 2wk break we’re on, idk what I’d do. Any advice from other ADD moms who have been through it??
