How do you deal with managers or directors younger than you who don’t have strong leadership qualities due to lack of experience? I’m in my mid-thirties and the director of product is mid-twenties. They rose through the ranks as the startup grew so they really know the product and company but they don’t have a lot of experience managing a team. How do you feel about tech products that are heavily marketed to men? At this point I think the only gender-based marketing that would be appropriate would be for grooming products.

Currently through my first year in audit and am realizing this is not what I want to do with my life, so I have been spending 15-20 hours per week learning coding (specifically Python) and I feel like software development is definitely a better direction for me!
