I have a question/need to vent. I graduated from school in May, and my job offer was rescinded due to COVID. I don't qualify for entry level positions posted through campus recruiting, yet I don't have the experience of a full-time job to be qualified for anything other than an entry level position. How do I go about finding a job this way? It seems so ill-thought-out to me that companies would close the window on a potential employee because they didn't get recruited during campus recruiting.
How do you manage meals/snacks while on the road? What are your favorite products to pack for the trip? Would love links. Food from restaurants makes me sick, fat, and gives me brain fog
Real estate peeps, is there a rule of thumb regarding rent concession add-backs when calculating exit price for office properties? Would the adjustment be different for stabilized vs. value add?
Planning a weeklong trip to Grand Canyon/Zion. Looking forward to a bunch of day hikes. A few places we wanted to hit up are closed due to COVID (like Antelope). Any lesser known recos?

Applying to LEK from Michigan. Considering Chicago and NYC offices. How much more competitive is the NYC office? If I rank NYC over Chicago, am I ruining my change with Chicago?
I feel bad admitting this because of the state of the world, but I had a great summer. After years of working in toxic environments with terrible people, getting laid off and having time to myself again was amazing. I finished personal projects. I got sleep. I read doorstop books that needed more attention than subway reading. And now freelance work is picking up (and I don’t hate it.) I even got Covid but only had mild symptoms. Banner summer for sure.
What’s the hiring market like in Texas for a 4th year investment management associate? I’m interested in Austin but understand there may be more opportunities in Houston or Dallas. Graduated with honors and on law review at a T14, if that helps at all.
PwC Family - If you could choose any Industry and Competency combination, what would you choose? I'm a sponsored MBA candidate and can pick any practice in Management Consulting.
Anyone heard of Dosh app? Looks like I can get $50 in cashback/week booking my hotel through this, but I don’t see options to combine with my loyalty program.
My mom in law came here to help me. Most of the pedia's advice is not in line with her opinions how baby should be taken care of. My husband often times follow his mom and I feel that I am a bad person to them if i strongly disagree. She is very disappointed and even shows bad behavior when I dont give in and when I do take care (e.g. feeding time and amouht of mill given) of little one the way I know it should be...

For those who’ve gone through the VC interview process, how would you recommend studying for technicals? Is it similar to IB/PE technicals? Or is there more of a focus on case interview technicals? Understand that it varies by firm but any perspectives would be helpful. Thank you!
