OMG why do people force backpacks on overhead bins?? Eats up a lot of space, and takes a hell out of time to get everyone boarded, trying to look for space??

Variety of reasons. #1 reason is sitting in a bulkhead seat with no under seat storage, and possibly having to put it in a different row. So mind your own business and fuck off.

I’m a traveler and need to choose my next destination. I could accept positions in Chicago or Colorado Springs- I’ve never been to either. Hi all, recently a recruiter from Amazon reached out for an SDE 2(2+ years of exp. required) role and I'm a recent CS grad. I gave the OA (which was extremely difficult w/ 99% cut-off) and other tasks related to the OA. A few hours back, I got a call from the recruiter that I had cleared the assessment and tasks and said that they are looking for 2+ years of exp. I said I'm open to the SDE1 role and said she'll ask her colleagues. Idk what to expect now 😥 Amazon Amazon India

I’ve been having a super hard time concepting lately, especially knowing that the “concept” will mostly serve as a sticker to slap on the cover of a CVA and the top of a website. I feel like every pharma concept I’ve ever seen or created becomes so cheesy once it appears in tactics. Does anyone have any examples of HCP creative (non-DSA) that is both impactful and translates well into pharma tactics?

Fellow runners - I’ve been running 3-4x per week at about a 20-25 mile/week for the past year or so.

My questions: (1) does it make sense to take a week off and let myself rest or do other workouts (i.e. cycling) and (2) I’ve been running with the same shoes since August last year - make sense to get new ones?

Wanted to know how different is management consulting in the US via-a-vis India?

Background : working as front end consultant in India. Daily routine is opening laptop at 9AM and doing work till 10ish PM, if the project is tight (which it is in majority cases) closing laptop by 1 or 2 am. Travel depends on project. Sr Managers have no sense of personal space in most companies. Money is goood.
