On 15mg adderall xr daily for ~1yr. When I’m consistent with it, i notice i lose things less and am a bit more organized, but don’t feel more energized/focused. Should i try something else?

Anyone know what most employers’ policies are on weed these days? I found out I have to do a hair follicle drug test for my new job, and I have taken a few small (5mg) edibles in the past 90 days. Not a regular user and it’s legalized in my state (decriminalized and legal for medical in the employer’s state). Any thoughts? I’m stressed about it.

I started taking Adderal, 2.5 g which is not really a lot. It didn’t really help with my focus, instead I felt restless and somehow nervous and really thirsty. And it made me clench my teeth. I do grind my teeth during nighttime but never experienced this in the daytime. Does it take time to get used to it?

How can I get diagnosed in the uk ? I hear there is a very long waiting list. Also I believe private medical does not usually cover it ? ( I have Aviva)

Anyone here have comorbid anxiety and/or depression? How did you know, and how do you manage it now? I think I might be struggling with one or both and I’m trying to figure out how to proceed. Not currently seeing a therapist or medicated, managing based on strategies I learned from an ADHD coach back in college, so at minimum I would need to find a provider, which has been a barrier (cost-wise, finding someone with experience with ADHD, etc.)

I’m so grateful for my late term diagnosis 18 months ago and my medication because i function like a human now. But it also makes me feel a bit sad that my brain is “broken” and even needs medication.

People that are not neuro-divergent are really just waking up everyday and living their lives with this level of clarity and stamina by breathing air.

Sigh.

Context: Diagnosed with ADHD during college recently joined MBB. I've previously managed my ADHD (both before and after diagnosis) with lots and lots of exercise, but this is no longer possible with my new job. Would like to avoid the hard meds if possible.

Have never been able to pay attention when stressed. On current engagement, everything (internal & client) involves lots of people and moving parts and I can't think or be productive.
