From experience if you aren’t going to bring a solution to the table and work to solve the problem, it’s better to play the it’s above my pay grade card and let your boss sort it out.

For additional context, I’m directly aligned with one of the work streams. I have a good relationship with my direct lead, so I know that at least my reviews won’t be impacted.

Are we on the same project 👀

I would try to find common ground and suggest solutions/compromises. In similar situations I tried being the person who would understand/learn about the other side which would build trust, and sometimes it would pay dividends. It doesn't always work, and you have to be careful to not be seen as playing people off of each other.

You ever feel like you're just failing to excel in consulting? Today and yesterday have been really hard to tap into any discipline to push past whatever brain fog/lack of motivation is preventing me from making progress on this project. I don't know if I'm just tapped out or not cut out for this type of intensity, but I'm 1.5 yrs into consulting after working in industry and this seems to happen too often. I just don't feel like I'm as good as my peers and don't know that I can get there.

Hi! I’m majoring in IT & don’t know what I want to go into once I graduate. I have 4-5 years of customer service experience but so does every student. What internships are more accepting of beginners? Project management, technical account Manager, Systems engineer maybe? Still learning the field.
