Is it okay to wear polos with logos of prior companies you worked for to work at the Big 4? Does it matter if you're on a client vs at the office?
If Donald trump works from Trump Tower two days a week, is he remote and WFH? As his client, I am not ok with that since his billable rate is really high.
On hold for a project that seems like it's never going to start. Torched my already not great utilization
Anyone done the BCG Gamma data science take home project? I was wondering roughly what type of modeling I should be brushing up on. Regression? Classification? Optimization? Time series? Other?
What’s everyone’s summer (May-Sept) working hours - assuming you don’t have a 6/30 year end client. The partners expectation is 8-6:30 and logging on from home after that some days. Is that insane?
Biglaw, capital markets, major market fwiw. Closing a big deal tonight and was told to order in a nice dinner on the client to celebrate. Price range you would spend on this? Would you get dessert? appetizer?
Gave my 2 weeks on Friday and project leadership asked me to write the proposal for our 2018 extension. First off- why? Im literally the worst person to do that at this point; Secondly- SO UNMOTIVATED
Hi, I have got offer from PWC India, Mumbai location. What are the chances that I will be deployed to a domestic client location project? And also if it's a critical data project like of banking what are the chances that they will ask for work from office at client location even if it's WFH these days? Is MBB (mostly thinking about McKinsey) really that bad in terms of WLB? I feel like people tend to exaggerate things sometimes - i was told i'd be working approximately 65h at Deloitte in Tech Strategy and honestly that barely ever happened. I wasn't considering switching since I love my job and my team, but many people are telling me I shouldn't "waste" my potential at Deloitte (whatever that means...). They kind of got to me and now i'm looking for more info about the culture/work at MBB.
I think my client is gas lighting me. I submitted workpapers and when they told me to look in them to review comments it looked nothing like what I submitted.
Hey fishes. I've recently moved to a new project where people aren't friendly. I know we're paid to work and not all colleagues are friendly. But, somehow I just feel very bored here. Its just work, work and work. Is this normal? PS : This is just my second project(~2 yrs exp) and wanted to know if this is common across the industry.
Is it inappropriate to wear a nice watch to client sites as an analyst? Think entry-level Rolex/Omega
Im in strategy at Accenture. Is there any chance they'll let me get staffed on a non-strategy project?
Advise working with a coworker who doesn't "answer the question directly": I just joined a new company and I am starting to work with a coworker but I feel like he tends to deflect my questions all the time and he often gives a vague/BS answer. FOR EXAMPLE, I stepped in reviewing the list of deliverables needed for the project, I provided my input but instead of discussing the actual context, he would just gave me a bunch of historical background information. How do I "cut to the chase"?
Get on a strategy S&O project now, try and transfer in, and give up promotion to SC in DD next year? My friend is telling me to target SC in DD then transfer, but i have an opportunity now to be on..
CONSULTING to INDUSTRY? Folks, after 9 years in Tech and Mgmt Consulting in same company, with exposure of working across many geographies, about to become a Manager in Dec, I have got an offer from an ex client to help them with their Digital Transformation in their Digital/IT dept. - and the position is in Europe, and money is absolutely no comparison to what I make here in India, its TREMENDOUS. My core team in current org left last year. Now this opp has come. Should I move?

Hi 🐠 I have a job offer to leave consulting to go to a start up. It’s hardly a raise but I think the work is really cool. I have 2.5 YOE and think there is value in making this move for start up experience. Any thoughts from some older/wiser 🐠? Thank you!!
Anyone here work for PwC Seattle? How's the culture? Good people? Do people travel much, or is it mostly local work? I'm an intern who received an offer elsewhere but considering asking for there.

Creatives, what are your job KPIs at work? Like during your evaluation what helps you build a case to justify asking for a promotion, salary raise or bonus? It seems to be that when it comes to account department it’s pretty straightforward to measure sales.
What's the worst expense horror stories you've heard? I've read enough about getting away w/ expensing stuff you shouldn't. But I am curious about the other outcomes.

Planning to switch companies but I'm currently in a consulting position on the bench. I'm worried if I give 2 weeks notice that I'll be let go immediately since I have nothing to transition, but I also don't want to screw over my current company by getting assigned to a project then leaving without notice. Am I just paranoid?
I’m going on my first travel project. What’s the best way and tips to earn the most reward? Would appreciate any suggestion
Best apps for case study prep?
Has anyone transitioned into product management? I would love to hear your story! I have 8 years experience in project management but I don’t know how to pivot. I don’t think I want to pivot internally because I’ve heard negative things about our product management teams. I’ve been thinking about moving into project management at a SaaS company but that is proving to be hard since I have no SaaS experience. Would love to hear anyone experience on moving into product management.
Any big law firms offering full remote positions (post-pandemic) for corp/M&A associates? Other than WSGR, Husch, Fenwick or Orrick?
Apply to HWS CBS and Booth round one. Should I add/revise. Stats below MBB for 2 years, exited to a manger role at a unicorn startup 3.9 from HYPS, 334 GRE Standard ECs. Likely want to go back to MBB with sponsorship post MBA.
What's the best way to apply as an analyst at another firm? Have a little over a year of experience, but going through campus hire isn't right. I need a position to apply to get a referral correct?
Note to removal defense lawyers. Bond approved last Tuesday, one week before today’s merits hearing. Client couldn’t get out of jail because bond payments in central Ohio can only be made on Tuesday and Thursday. Luckily, Judge continued hearing so client can be placed on non-detained docket. Lesson is to know when bond can be paid in your area to try to avoid future problems.
Can anyone recommend a Time Management course for employees? Bonus if it is tailored for Outside Sales people. Online/Virtual would be preferred as the reps are scattered throughout the country. Thank you!
