How to get project in Xorient?
Hi Nagarrians, it's been 45 days now since I joined Nagarro I was assigned a team at the time of joining but since then I am waiting for interview to take place. Is this normal procedure? Although from day 2 my project manager asked me to fill the timesheet corresponding to one project which is no billable. I am having concerns now as I don't know if this is normal ?

Deloitte question. I have always gotten a raise each year, the only question I ask is how much of a raise do I get. But I’m hearing from former Deloitte folks, it is naive to expect annual raises each year however small/big they are? And how does this play in Deloitte consulting vs advisory? Do one tend to withhold annual raises in base salary over the other, or is this just a deloitte culture thing? Looking at exit opportunities all over. So lmk! I’d Rather get a small raise than none at all.

the client is fair in this ask. what you are asking for is unethical. Eat better, feel better and work better!
make them regret doing actuals. expense the highest possible amount daily.
We always bill actuals. I don’t think it’s right to expect per diem - the client is the one paying you, after all. As long as the actuals are reasonable, I’m not sure I see the problem...
The problem is I'm a broke boy not working at Bain. I gots to make that per diem bank.

Question is whether the client's rules on actuals are reasonable?
Start eating then”lost” meals.
Had an actual projects earlier this year and appreciated some aspects about it mainly that it made me more willing to spend on a good healthy meal than just whatever is in the lounge or a quick greasy <$10 bite. Sure I didn’t get to pocket the extra money but the way I felt from a better diet was worth it.
If the SOW calls for actuals, make it actuals please. It’s completely unethical to do anything else.
If you depend on a per diem to make enough money, have a different conversation with your comp communicator in October. Or even your RM team or PML about future projects.
The agreement between the company and the client has no direct bearing on the agreement between the employee and the company.
Expense reimbursements are simply that: a way to reimburse you for travel expenses. The per diem system was introduced to curb expense abuse, not as a benefit to consultants.
We prefer actuals in our firm. In the rare instance a client wants per diems, we typically allow consultants to charge actuals, bill clients per firms, and let the chips fall were they may.
Does KPMGs policy allow you to claim a per diem? If so, you should claim the per diem; the account team will take whatever receipts you do have and claim actual from the client; and they’ll have to eat this difference.
This should be coming out of contingency, not your pocket.
Show your itemised receipts and make them jealous of your lifestyle.
Just eat meals that are healthy and delicious for you, if the client is wanting the actual expenses.
