Anyone hiring enterprise sales in ATL?
Verizon. This company only cares about numbers and does not promote based on how good you are. Office politics plays a bigger role. Verizon schedules your schedule based on their needs and not on yours. You are just a number at this company. I was told to sell a credit card to a poor man who couldn't afford to pay his next rent payment so that he can buy accessories. Verizon talks about "integrity" But that's just BS. I have never worked for a company it morally so corrupt.
GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) Gartner Hi! I'm currently working as an Account Manager in SMB at Gartner. Received an offer to work at GLG EMEA's enterprise financial institutions segment, also as an Account Manager.
Does anyone have any feedback about GLG? Any advice? I do like Gartner but they're offering me a better pay and to work in a much more interesting segment at GLG.
I personally would move on. The climb would be too much for me, and it sounds like it is for you.
A really good team and potential upside though if I can break through next year. You'd still leave?

That's good; you have tenure and (I presume) a solid reputation at the company. This is the time to sit down with your manager and dissect what the problem(s) is. It's better to be proactive in this situation than to wait for you manager to put you on a "plan". Of course, this conversation cannot be a bitch session. You have to clearly define what the quantifiable problem is, you need to be able to articulate what the systematic reasons are for the problem and you should be prepared to recommend solutions to the problem.
