Does EY send any goodies pre-hire?
Hi everyone,
I am looking for someone to take over my 2Bed/2Bath lease in 420 E Ohio (Streeterville) starting in November (flexible). The apartment, the building amenities and neighborhood are truly AWESOME, but I got a new job outside of IL and will be relocating. Message me if interested!

Companies need a more hands-on and interactive approach; the era of relying solely on your vendor is gone if you value your company and its assets.
We need to look closely at our supply chains and ensure they keep up with security standards; of course, this is a two-way street.
Lead by example, implement controls, deploy an active security awareness campaign and practice good cyber hygiene.

Anyone at Deloitte know how to view utilization?
I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

You sound adorable.
This thread is everything I love about FB. Thanks all.
Just make sure she hides in the closet when your firm's HR police does their daily scan of all the consultants hotel rooms
lol yes
Your SO is hardly the worst person who might be visiting a consultant's hotel room...
Firm policy is that you can share a room but it has to be a double - one bed each OP. And you have to declare it on your firm's Independence website as a business relationship. Don't get caught out
Idk the answer to your question OP, but you are adorbs.
Everyone does this, OP ... which firm are you with?
And don't listen to the smartalecks here ... also read up on expense policy. And make sure you keep the noise down at night - your manager might be in the next room!
If you stay over the weekend and she's flying in, you could expense her flight under the alt travel policy
I always bring my SO along, just keep it on the low... if u have a free hotel room there is no reason why she shouldn't be able to enjoy it with you. This job takes enough out of you, find balance where you can. Few things are more spontaneous than staying together at a hotel in NYC! Especially when we're having this beautiful weather.
Congrats on the sex
A ray of light in our cynical world.. Muahhh OP!
Oh and just book it to the project code. Don't do alt travel. Just make sure your expenses don't exceed a typical week. It's not the way you are technically supposed to do it but it's so much easier and will be less scrutinized.
Check your per Diem - ours almost doubles depending on where you go. No need to hide INFACT - you have a Pretty good reason to say at sharp 5:30 pm to the team members "..... Guys I have to catch up with my wife who is in town so see ya"ll tomorrow AM ". This will establish polite but firm rules around the Manager or SM dicking around for staying late and you will not be obligated to enjoy the post work stupidity ( which is always disguised as work) . Cherish these moments with your SO ....... before you know you will be counting the nights you could stay together but did not . I am at 2000+ nights and counting ( it's sad !)
Audibly awww'd ❤️
OP is so cute 😀😀 don't worry, it's totally legal to let your SO share your hotel room! People do that all the time and you're not breaking any laws here. You're a traveling consultant..you're supposed to take advantage of the fact that you have meals and accommodation paid for, 4 days a week in a city like NYC! So don't worry about it.
Thanks everyone, with Deloitte. I just don't want anyone to think I'm taking advantage of being in the city at the moment to explore at night time. They may feel that I'm distracted if my SO is town, but I don't have to share that with them
Like how you seek public approval before letting in your SO Stay in your room :)
Of course it's fine. Work life balance is key. Whatever makes you happier on the road.
