Hi IBM sharks 🦈
So I got interviewed for a project by the IBM team. The interviewer told me that its a go ahead from their end, now the client will assess my profile and if they too are fine with it, I will be onboarded?
Is it true that we have client interview as well? If yes then after how many days of interview by IBM team, client interview takes place?
Or its just that if the IBM team is fine with it, we are selected for the project?
Any inputs on this will really help :)
Looking for some advice on the following - I want to make a pivot back to client services, specifically advisory/consulting/transaction services. I have 4 years public accounting experience, and 3.5 years manager experience within the corporate controllership function, both technical and SEC reporting related (more technical than SEC). What roles would I be a fit for? Public experience includes tax and audit. EY PwC KPMG Deloitte

You’re not alone - we’ve all had really bad projects. My worst one was 3 months on site including all but one weekend with many days 7- midnight.
I would focus on two things:
1. What you can control and managing that appropriately. No point in stressing over what you can’t.
2. Identify positives. For me, that project was a pivotal point in my career as it helped me realize what I don’t want to do. I also built some strong relationships and lifetime friendships.
Thank you!
