Recruiters are coming in at about 80% ghost rate average.
@copy1 - Yeah, recruiters are the worst people.
It happens. A lot. Their excuse is that they like to leave you hanging vs. outright rejecting you (in case something comes up later). That and they’re likely lazy and careless too.
But it all just adds stress and it would be super helpful and human if people could craft some tiny, truthful response instead of the power trip.
I actually don’t mind “form” rejections. At least I know where I stand.
90%. And that doesn’t include the ones that respond to me one time and not another
80 to 90% when cold emailing. Sucks when you know they opened your email and probably your book but couldn't even shoot you back a "Nah."

Ignored 95% of the time. Ghosted about 30% of the time after interviewing with at least a recruiter once.
