Let's assume 25 thousand of those miles are work related. So 25k miles multiplied by the mileage rate of .51 and you're basically making $13k off of mileage alone. I don't see the problem here lol.

I drove all over the state this week and just now realized I forgot to get gas last night, now I am stranded by the side of a freeway oh yeah with no wallet I left wallet at home by accident ... this is just great ...

I put 50,000 on my commuter motorcycle. Can you say making bank!!!

1YOE medical device NPI Lead looking for salary perspective

Mechanical engineering grad, joined a medical device startup that I had done co-ops at. 8mo into full-time, pivoted from engineering into more of an operations role doing new product introduction (NPI), now with 3 direct reports.

The combination of startup+medical device+NPI seems very unique and I'm struggling to find salary comparables. Currently making 75k but it feels very low given my new responsibility and impact. Any advice?

I am truly tired of applying and waiting for their call back and reverts, Its like getting into depression slowly slowly.

I recently went on disability leave and my boss Auto forwarded my emails to my coworker. I have plenty of emails that I need to access that have to do with my getting appointed with the carriers and policies that I have signed for groups.. How do I approach this ? I am upset that he didn’t even tell me. Didn’t clarify weather it’s a standard thing or not so as to ease my mind, etc. NOTHING! Jerk doesn’t care about my success

So my bipolar dad got declined for a mortgage because disability gets shut off in < 3 years when he turns 65. So now he wants me to co-sign for him. Between housing markets being up, my concerns over his money mgmt, and concerns over tying up my credit there’s no way I can say yes. He sold his house before being approved for the new one he put in for (against my advice). I know he won’t understand and will take this personally, and the family will probably take his side. Gonna be a long week…

❗️PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION FOUND IN DRUG TEST❗️As expected, it was found in a drug test as part of a background check for a conditional job offer. Hi tax 🐠,

I have a question for those who prep individual tax returns. My parents claim my grandfather as a dependent on their tax return and due to their low income, receive PTC for the premiums they pay on his insurance (not eligible for medicare). However, would it be advantageous to have him file for his own tax return (he stays with my parents and doesn't have his own proof of residency via bills). If so, can he get PTC if his income is 0?
