BCG first or final round :)
The case about telling the truth. Also, you don't "pass" cases. I'm guessing this Victor Cheng person is trying to sell you something...
For the other 60 he just tallied up all the cases from interviews he passed with various companies. Still though it's a really high number- 60 cases/7 firms is an average of more than 8 cases per firm. Does any firm do this many cases between first and final rounds? My BS detector is going off
He didn't pass the first round at BCG- at the same time though that number is kind of fishy- isn't BCG first round 2 cases??
For Bain undergrad it's a total of 5 cases across both rounds, so yeah that feels high.
Google 1 - Yup, that's basically the process still.
It's officially called BMB from now
It is, Bain1? I recall 2 in my first and 2 in my final... Did you guys up it recently?
Bain was definitely 5-6 when I went through the process: two rounds of 2 case interviews each and then 2 partner interviews (for me only one was a case and the other was a fit / industry chat). This was in 2012 tho.
5 cases + 1 fit only is the standard
