On my 3rd job in 2 years (consultant for a year, then left for a new company that was impacted by COVID). My new role is not very interesting and can be very pigeon holed at times. The pay and benefits are top notch, which are keeping me here. Is it too soon to jump again for something I’m more interested in or is it better to wait?

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?

Been working at a startup law firm doing transactional work and recently the partner of another firm doing private defense litigation has attempted to scalp me with a base pay well above my current. I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). Has anyone ever tried shrooms to treat depression and anxiety? I’ve been unhappy/depressed about life for the last 2-4 years. I’ve seen a therapist. I have moments where I’m happy and that comes in short spurts. But a lot of the times I’m depressed/anxious and I honestly just want to try shrooms because I’ve heard it may help.

I’m totally empathetic to people that miss offices and traveling. I understand your reasons why, I truly do.

For me personally, after non-stop weekly travel for 4 straight years, not traveling has made me realize how much I enjoy being home. Spending time with family, sleeping in your own bed, consistent exercise schedule, etc.

I for one hope consulting becomes more of a hybrid travel model (i.e. travel 1-2x per month or as needed). Else it won’t be for me.

Anyways, just some thoughts.

No promotion or raises in my office because of COVID. We ve done a brilliant year until March and the business is not (yet) impacted. I feel it’s unfair. (Continued in first comment)
