I’ve password protected my entire site all of my career and it’s never hindered my ability to get a job or even get recruited. All of the work has credits and if I claim awards, I link to the awards site and project w the credits. I started doing this back in 2010 because I had THREE people at my agency at the time steal my work (images, comps, written descriptions) and claim it as theirs.
Oh I always put credits- for one it’s basically an unspoken gentlemans rule. But also, two people got fired from my office for not putting everyones name under the work in their books
At least have something to look at, see a side project or see my resume which is fairly well rounded, and then decide if they want to ask for a password. Or is that pointless?
The problem is the NDA is print. So it would seem annoying to have multiple password-protected pages
Your work should be the first thing people see. Not your resume. Especially for creatives, resumes have little importance.
Just password protect individual projects. You more to show than just these two projects right?

Most portfolio sites let you password individual pages
So, can you password just the NDA and cancelled projects?
Also, for the corona cancelled project, in time you could display it and not worry.

Oh, it's super annoying. .. but if that's what you have to do, you have to do it.
Is your book just those two projects? Or are they your best projects?
