Hi fishes,
Anyone joined coforge recently? Any reviews for the same? Is it worth to join this organisation? They told me they are hiring for Santander bank account but still be having client interview before onboarding to project. Any idea on this account? Is it tough to crack client interview over there? Don't want to face long bench hours like it used to be in Publicis sapient which led to brutal lay off. Kinda sceptical to join as it is giving me Publicis sapient vibes.Coforge Coforge ltd

There are now stupid questions
Chill chill
P4 you have been at Pdubbs too long, kiss ass just comes naturally now 😒
Self preserve - work out, cook, learn a skill, go on dates, see friends, forget terms like "adding value"
Add value. Do BD, engage in quick short term side work, helps with optics as you leave
Chill!!
P4, I really cannot agree with you. Relationships are built over years not in a last ditch kiss ass effort, 2 weeks before I leave. No one is gonna remember that. I know people who I’ve worked in the same office with for years, smile and say hello in hallways but could not tell you their name or position at the firm. If that relationship is not already there, not happening.
Do knowledge transfer. That's what the time is really about. And if nobody wants that knowledge, enjoy TV time
P4, you do know there are other useful thing to do that are not doing work for the company you are about to leave, right? Read a book, prepare for the next step, rest, etc...
Chill
Ignore P4, unless there's a chance you would want to come back.
Clean out your google drive so important junk doesn’t get randomly assigned to the wrong people!
P4, the directors/partners you’re talking about would advise chilling too!
Some of my best relationships at the firm were by happenstance when I was on the bench and not nose deep in work. I had more time to spark conversations over mutual interests, new ideas, and things I’d been curious about. I really didn’t think of it as “work” or “adding value”, but those relationships often landed me cool opportunities within the firm but also friendships that’ll last beyond my time at the firm. Weirdly, I actually felt more genuinely engaged and excited about my career when I got to take a step back, get a breather, and re-approach work without the usual project obligations. Not that hard to understand. OP maybe you have no desire to stay engaged in little but meaningful ways, but if you do, then I simply offered some suggestions as to how.
Chill. But I’d probably use the time to maximize the firm’s resource eg trainings suitable for your next role, networking, and chill
No seriously, research possible solutions to something the firm is trying to do, casually mention it to directors/partners in passing. Let them know what they’ll be missing. Be remembered, they won’t be there forever either and may be interested in you for something more exciting down the line, leave with some umph
Sure sure, my suggestions can be taken in tandem. Don’t exhaust yourself trying to add value. Also don’t be a bum merely holding out for two weeks.
P4, you're talking about time between projects while staying at the same firm though, from what I can tell. With 2 weeks before leaving, that's completely different. If OP had two weeks to kill between projects, the yeah your advice would be great. But many people won't want to ramp someone up when they are just going to put their notice in, and likewise if you're putting in your notice (but haven't yet), why would you offer to help knowing you can't commit past a certain date?
Why not stay on the bench and leave after the holiday shutdown?
Just me but I will be chilling on my couch
