On this day of giving, what are some of your firm’s benefits/perks that you value most? For example, we appreciate the comped dinners for working 10 or more hours in a day but never use the transportation home after 8:30pm (particularly during pandemic).

Before the pandemic, I appreciated the priceless perk of being able to get HAMMERED on Thursday night, only show up on Friday at 12PM with no one batting an eye.

I also liked being able to work from other offices for a day or two every now and then.

I liked the comped dinner but I rarely eat at night due to GERD so I never used it.

Priceless, indeed.

Yeah being able to work from another office and have the firm comp travel was a great way to get to weddings. Miss that.

You guys get other benefits? Also what is this transit thing you speak of

Used to get a free dinner after billing 10 hours but they got rid of this since WFH. You have to be at the office to get the perk :/

Wondering if anyone has experience with requesting a receipt from Becker. I paid for Becker monthly prior to starting with my firm and now I can submit the costs to my firm for reimbursement. I plan to email them but just was curious if anyone did this before and had better direction.

I work on a small 4 person remote team- 2 peers and our manager. My 2 peers were recently hired and started in February this year. I actually trained them since I have held that position (Manager). I have been at the company for 6 years and moved to a Sr. IC role. My skip-level was previously my direct manager. My manager told us about a plan to meet up in person this summer for team building. It slipped in a meeting today that everyone but me is included in going. More in comments.
