Once COVID is over, what are the travel restrictions for TS/SCI with full scope poly? Are there any countries that you absolutely can NOT travel to?

Other than the typical restrictions?

I’d just email my FSO in regard to this question. They know better 🤷🏻‍♀️

You can’t travel to any non-frat country listed on the State Department website and any travel outside of the US requires pre-approval. For a definitive list of off limit countries I’d hit up your FSO. You want want to visit any of them anyways so you should be fine.

Sounds about right

DPW has made the Covid-19 vaccine mandatory for all U.S. offices. Anyone who doesn‘t have the vaccine will not be permitted to enter the premises. Can I please check how the other BigLaw firms are dealing with this? Don‘t want to start a political discussion, but this seems very intruisive to me.

Suggestions on a town that is resonably close to the Boston Airport and still affordable (under $700k for a single family home), also have a kid so schools are eventually going to be important. Suggestions?? Resonably close to the airport to me is an hour or less of car/commuter ride. I am thinking we may have to travel at some scale over the next year and beyond hence the proximity to Bos Logan is important.

The recent most billable hours post, inspired me. What is your longest billable day? Mine was 56 hours straight with no break—and the partner was more than a jerk when I was saying no more at the 30 hour point. That was two 24 hour billable days back to back on my time sheet and on the bill, a 360 hour month, and 650 aggregated for two months. And it is one reason (of so many reasons) why this job can suck so much! At least I got a good bonus...
