Hi All,
After ED round of interview I got a mail from HR asking to submit few documents. In the mail HR has mentioned that I'm one of the shortlisted candidate and final selection is yet to be made. So how are my chances of getting an offer.
Is it something common that happens in JPMC.

Hi IBM sharks 🦈
So I got interviewed for a project by the IBM team. The interviewer told me that its a go ahead from their end, now the client will assess my profile and if they too are fine with it, I will be onboarded?
Is it true that we have client interview as well? If yes then after how many days of interview by IBM team, client interview takes place?
Or its just that if the IBM team is fine with it, we are selected for the project?
Any inputs on this will really help :)
Finished interviewing for an ATS role at Microsoft Wednesday. The interviewers said they were recommending me but I haven’t gotten any feedback from the recruiter. I’m at PwC S& and in consulting I always got at least a verbal yes day of or next day after interviewing. Does anyone know how long this usually takes? Do you get a verbal first or do they wait to have a contract?
I am deputed at the client office. I use PSL laptop only to check mails. But in my last appraisal my manager told me that I need to get 60 credit points for promotion. But due to client work load, i won't be able to do that. So, I have resigned from PSL mentioning the same that promotion will not happen.
But my manager told me that he will try to give me a promotion in next cycle (ignoring the credit points clause). He is asking me to withdraw resign
Shall I withdraw my resign? Persistent
Hi guys,
I am currently on notice period and my LWD is Sep 2, 2022. Today, I got an offer from state street mentioning my joining date as Sep 12, 2022 even though I already told HR that I would like to join from Sep 5 itself. How can I convince HR to prepone my joining date to Sep 5, 2022. I don't want to lose my one week salary guys. Pls suggest. State Street

Have you tried exploring other roles in the same company ? Make use of the network you’ve built there so you won’t feel like you’re starting from scratch. Since you didn’t mention what your dissatisfaction with current role is about, I’m going to assume it’s the nature of work. If it’s just about money for you, wait until your stocks get fully vested and switch.
I mean there’s more to this equation than just pay. Depending on where you’re at, it could mean a trade off elsewhere. I know I’m under-comped at google compared to some of my friends at AWS/Adobe but I don’t really care because I have nearly double the amount of free time they have and my work is more strategic.
But if you’re dissatisfied and like your company, talk to your manager and see about a role transfer. That’s why google lets people do the 20% projexts
I'm glad I switched but it wasn't in FAANG so I can't speak from that POV. However, if you're not happy that will spill over into other areas of your life and to be the best you can be for your family is important both financially and emotionally.
Agree with the previous posters, internal transfers are a valuable tool that you can use to help find the perfect role. You don’t need to leave the company to find something interesting to do. In fact it’s better for the company if you stay (retention of institutional knowledge, combating attrition etc.) so most companies do support internal job postings.
Depends on the person and how you like the WLB, culture, team. It obviously opens up opportunities outside the company too if it turns out its not a good fit.
Do you like your current company but not your current job? If so, try interviewing internally. If not, you’ll have to weigh work life balance vs interesting work. Amazon may offer more interesting work, but the 9-5 will probably be gone. Resting and vesting isn’t so bad if you have a family.
I'd try to stay put where you are if possible. Longevity is a value few have these days.
