Anyone traveled internationally and worked remote on their project? Teammate did so and my project didn’t say anything so thinking I can do the same and fly to my home country earlier
Back office -> Client facing... Are there any success stories? Would it be better to switch firms? Hiring managers, what would you be looking for in that internal candidate?

There’s a corporate partner that was a big-time lateral hire. He is always out of the loop on the deals and hands off on everything BUT any time there is a client call, he tries to provide input that is very off base (i.e., stating incorrect facts, creating inapplicable hypotheticals, or being an alarmist on items were previous addressed). It makes me cringe every time because the partner from a different corporate group has to cover his gaffes on the call. Has anyone run into this situation?
I was looking for a new job outside of PA and then called it off. Before that I'd been offered a second interview for a role at an audit client (not mine). Will anyone at the firm find out?
Tfw the client nixes a same sex couple in your script because there isn't time to get it approved.
PwC folks, I got my W2 and there is a state I don’t remember being in. How do I go about seeing what project it was for? If there was an error would it be easy to fix?

That awkward moment when almost everyone from your project team asks did you go see Black Panther this past weekend...
“The client has authorized 3 hours of billable research and 1 billable hour for writing the memo, that should be MORE than sufficient to research the position of each circuit on this asinine issue that I thought of at 3AM this morning because I couldn’t sleep so I thought of ways to ruin your life instead!!!! Xoxo managing partner.”
Graduated 2019, admitted late 2019, been practicing almost three years. First two in LT lit, then almost a year in transactional. Making $70k now working from 9:30-7:00.. almost non- stop. No time for lunch type of work dynamic. Daily tasks: Attend 1-2 closings and 1-2 signing contract with client . I don’t mind the work, just $70k is hard to sustained a living, any ideas on how I can transition to a better paying transactional practice area? 😐
Anybody knows the review HCL client paypal?
I feel awful. I really wanted to be on a project but it was tiny and could only accommodate a Manager. Great client. 😭
3 months into a project and being transitioned into another role because of performance. No change in supervisor or roll-off timeline. Tips to bounce back and mitigate the inevitable perf rating.
What is the Southern California consulting landscape? Seems like the majority of companies with operations there have project work elsewhere.
The majority of my experience at work has been in knowledge and training development and I’m desperately trying to make a switch. I’m learning SQL and I want to use more strategy and data analysis in my role/projects. Any suggestions on what other steps I should take for project leads and hiring managers to take me seriously outside of training development and anything that would make me a better candidate? I feel stuck in my career because of this.
