Don’t bill it as a vacation day?

Dead

Sounds like a general administration type of billable day

Question: The company that you are working for offers cloud managed services and has been approached by a potential client. What are some areas (or red flags) you would consider before responding to their RFP? ( I started putting together a response but would love to get your insights) Answer: 1) Understanding of current annual spending vs spending if they adopted our cloud services 2) Clients expected growth rate 3) Regulatory requirements depending on industry (medical, fed etc)

I think if someone has served the country, they should be granted Veteran's Day off as a paid holiday. Not forced to use their accrued PTO, or sick day. It's a holiday they earned for the rest of their lives. Call me crazy but this makes sense to me.

I am the sole income earner in a family of four. I need the health insurance for my disabled son. With that said: I am terrified that I am going to be kicked off my project for not being able to do three roles at once while getting zero sympathy from my managers for my stressful personal life. I work 45 hours per week and that is all I can give.

10+ YOE, experienced hire, and up for promotion to SC this year. My current project is straight up analyst work (absolutely no disrespect). I spend my days doing nothing but updating excel sheets, producing reports for slides, and doing extremely boring work (go into 100+ folders/excels and report back on who's completed what). I not only feel like this is BS, but I feel like it's going to screw up my promotion. I've never asked any analyst I have worked with to do this stuff, yet here I am...

I can't stop being angry and disappointed in myself. I'm on PTO and decided to take care a few of the household chores. I multi-task all of the time and can't help it. I forgot that I turned on the water to fill up the ultility sink in the basement and ran back upstairs to do something else. Well 2 hours later as I turn on the shower, I wonder why it's not getting hot. Then I remembered the basement. Obviously it overflowed and I had .25 inches of water on the floor (concrete) Cont
