I was contacted by an Amazon recruiter for a remote Sr. Program Manager role. I took and passed the assessment and was moved to the hiring manager round which was scheduled for tomorrow. I got an email tonight saying that the Director of the group decided that the person must be in Seattle. I am in Austin, which is not an option. I’m disappointed! The recruiter will let me know if any remote roles come up but in the mean time, does anyone have any remote Amazon roles that they’d refer me to?
Referrals seem to have the upper hand so I figured advertising myself is worth a shot. Recent M.A grad currently based in atl, but looking to move to nyc. If anyone needs a jr. strategist or ae and would like to see my resume/portfolio, send me a note at a104352@aup.edu ! I can pinky promise to be a very enthusiastic and hard-working team member :)

When I had a kid leave my class for being disrespectful and I called the ES teacher to come and get him. I told them I was not cleaning up the kids mess. The aid brought him up and had him clean up his mess. After the class the kid came back and gave me his work he owed me and a letter of apology. When he left he went to the door turned around and said.” I’m really sorry”.

I was out sick on Monday and when I returned to school, I wasn’t allowing them to hug me and I was very quiet. The day after I went back, one of the students asked me if I was feeling better yet. I think he missed the healthy me.
