One thing that's been bothering me lately is how hard it is to find a job in marketing right now. There are so many different roles and responsibilities that it can be overwhelming. How do you know where to start? Is there even an opportunity for someone like me with no formal education?

Greattings, I started working at Morgan Stanley basically as an intern, then moved up to an Estate and Inheritor specialist, was looking to move on to be a FA getting my certs with MS sadly pandemic hit and things got stuck in MS, then I got an offer from my current employer Goldman sachs and I'm a manager for level 3 complaints for the GM card, I'm looking to go back to the path of FA but it's been hard to make the lateral move, any recommendations?

Curious to know which roles everyone is in and if you moved over from consulting. I recently left consulting for more impact, better $/WLB, but I’m not necessarily seeing it in tech. The consulting bowl hypes up FAANG so much but I’m not seeing the allure… fwiw I’m in bizops

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021. Why would a business choose to hire an agency instead of going the much cheaper route and hiring a freelancer?

I just switched jobs only to find out their processes and software are outdated. I’m afraid that I will lose my skills in the new automation and marketing platforms like HubSpot. I asked if there was a chance to upgrade but it’s all done through corporate. Ily old job was tech savvier but my boss was a terrible micromanager. I’m thinking just stick around for 2-3 years.
