One week work from home after 6 weeks of being on road. I am sitting on my couch in boxers on a Monday. It is an amazing feeling.

So teachers have to go back to the classroom even though we are still remote. The justification is to "prepare for going f2f" but there's no date for that yet. Is the real reason because they don't trust us to do our jobs?

What are some of the “unproductive” things you’ve been doing during WFH? For me, whenever I have 30-45 minutes in between meetings and nothing urgent to get done, I’ll play a quick game of 2K.

I am getting married this week with my college sweetheart/Best friend. Even though we were in the same college, I met her on bumble and these 4 years have been amazing. Especially the last 2 years during wfh (luckily our families are from the same city). With WFO starting, we didn’t want to do long distance hence decided to get married. Our families our very happy and so am I. The only thing that is bugging me is that I am really young. I am 25. Should I be worried?

Tax question. I live in NJ and normally work in NY, but I’ve been remote since March 2020. Does anyone know if I can get all of my NY taxes back since technically I worked in NJ for the vast majority of 2020?

Am I a terrible person for taking calls while going to the bathroom on occasion? In the remote world, we have constant back to back calls, and I struggle to find time to go…

I got an offer to work as a senior consultant (accounting advisory) at CrossCountry for 95k. As an S1 audit in B4, I’m not sure if it’s the right move because I’m unsure of what I’m looking for. It’s remote (for now) based in the Bay Area. I’m in Philly now. They said they’d consider remote work permanently though. Otherwise, I wouldn’t consider living there for that salary. So I’ve been at my current company for 2 months and am leaving in 3 weeks for a new job. I essentially interviewed for both jobs (my current role and the role I’m leaving for) at the same time. The role I’m leaving for was slow to complete interviews and process my offer. I have essentially just been trained and have lightly worked on one project during my time here.
