Is it common to feel defeated about initial salary offers when leaving the military? I thought I did everything right , but finishing my SkillBridge internship with an offer that decreases my income by $20k feels like failure. Can anyone relate?

Quick question for my DTS travelers: if I don’t wanna take part of a flight back from a school that I’m attending, can I just push the flight in United without any repercussions? E.g., flying back from COS to DEN to IAH on 5/20 but I wanna stay in DEN … can I just push the DEN-IAH segment in United and not get on the plane then? Will that land me in trouble? Can I even mess with DTS flights on the United app?
