Have you hit the constipation stage yet? That one is a real hitter. Metamucil + stool softeners + squatty potty on repeat.

Indeed. Just past that phase😫🤣
I had to go on both Pepcid and a prescription as it got so bad in the third trimester. Also figured out that tomatoes and chocolate were triggers for me

I just suffered through mainly 😩 Tried to sit upright or lay on an incline after meals and drink cold water or milk for temporary relief. Sorry mama! My little boy came out with a thick head of hair though which I hear can be related. Maybe think about how cute yours will be in the meantime? Also noticed sugar (candy, cookies etc) was my worst trigger so I avoided those before bed.

Pepsid Complete, (the chewables), was recommended by my OB and works tremendously for me! Tried several other meds before this one and it's so helpful!

Gaviscon liquid. I don’t even measure lol
I had upstairs and downstairs Tums during my third trimester. It was the worst, definitely talk to your OB if it’s preventing you from eating. Old wives tale is that it means your baby has hair and my now 8 week old came out with a full head of long hair! He almost already needs a haircut! 😂
Good news is it stops the minute the baby comes out! Took me a couple weeks to be like wow, no more Tums!
I suffered bad acid reflux with my first child. I literally had to be sleeping sitting up, propped with pillows and was burping all night. I had to cut off eating at 7pm and chewed tums like it was prenatal pills to get some ease! I am 32 weeks with my second and it has not started, thank God!!! Hopefully it skips me this time.

Omg I thought I was going crazy. I’ve never suffered with acid reflux in my life and am 23 weeks and it’s bad/just starting. It gets worse at night too. Tried Pepcid, now moving onto Prilosec. I see my doc tomorrow so I think I’m going to just ask her for a prescription. Between the bloating and burning it’s unbearable.

Gaviscon is a game changer I promise. I wish I had discovered earlier in my first pregnancy. But yes. Stay away from high fat and or spicy foods where possible.
What week is acid reflux supposed to start? 🤔
Mine really started around 33 weeks
