I need advice. I am in-house as well as work in operations. My title is Counsel/Deputy COO. I have worked here over 4 years and before this had no legal titles but like Contracts Manager. I want to go to a bigger more stable company. I have sent out more resumes than I can count, to companies like mine specializing in SAAS. I have never gotten a call back so I have to assume it is something on my resume. My law school wasn’t top tier and I have a masters and am working on doctorate. Help???!!

Anyone having major anxiety about going back Monday? I’ve had hives all day. I miss the kids but knowing how unstructured they’ve been for two weeks and how many people they’ve encountered from who-knows-where is seriously stressing me out. Our school hasn’t suggested anything for helping us with distancing. Since we can’t get the vaccine yet, I’m so nervous about the clash/spread of new germs that’s about to happen! I fear it’s going to be Round 2 😫😰😰😷

How do you navigate a mom who has no empathy when you’re sad? Her first reaction when I’m sad (crying over a guy usually) is to call me emotionally unstable. And that’s before I even tell her the reason. Then she gets mad when I don’t get over it in 10 min and cheer up. Then she tries to force me to pray!!

If I wasn’t visiting her right now I’d just not talk to her but I’m here for a week and she’s making me even more upset.
