There is a program called ATLAS in Amazon India where L2, L3 associates from non tech and other departments can become a software development engineer through an entrance test followed by 10 month training. Is it still open. Or is there any similar program through which I can become a SDE from L2 associate ?
DM me to be referred to EY

Can someone help me out with my 401k contributions.
26 years old, make 187k base. For the past 3 years, I have maxed my 401k and was contributing 10% to traditional and 10% to Roth. I have about 125k in my 401k account, am down about 20% but I don’t really care/know it will correct it’s self. Im in no target funds all index/mutual funds.
How should I reallocate my percentages to traditional and Roth? Should I ONLY do Roth and not traditional? Does my company match on Roth or only traditional

$10M by 35? Even at McK, that's quite ambitious barring a trust fund or sizable inheritance.
Mine changes a bit from month to month, but currently about $4M by 53. If you'd asked a few years ago, it would have been $3.5M by 48, but then we had an unexpected kid and their college funding pushed out FIRE date back a few years.

Up in the air right now, though we're currently slightly leaning towards staying here in the DC area and all our current math is based on that location. My wife's been here since undergrad and I've been here for the past decade; we both mostly like the area but it isn't set in stone by any stretch of the imagination.
Other areas we've casually looked into as destinations, all of which would change our FIRE calculations pretty drastically: Nashville, Charleston, Asheville, Salt Lake City, Cincy, Indianapolis, or somewhere in rural-ish Montana or Wyoming.
10-15, 45-50. Greenwich CT.
$10 mil by age 50 in Florida. Currently $1.3 mil at age 40. Very aggressive for my hh income of 200k.but ok to retire at 50 if I have atleast $1 mil disposable to generate yearly income of 100k.
3 million by 40. Probably somewhere in Florida.
1.5 M by 35 with a paid off property, living off interest in Florida.
Assuming that if I have a partner, they will have their own retirement path or consistent income.
What rule is in play now, C1?
1.5M would be FI for me. Not sure I would pull the trigger unless work became really unbearable
2M in Southeast Asia
Currently at 1.7 m, looking to get to 100k/year passive income to pull the trigger.
I have decent income coming from cryptocurrencies with 6-12% APY. I have a private equity play with a high growth industry and I'm looking to purchase a rental property next year if prices lower at all.

That’s amazing - good luck on your journey and hope you also manage to balance saving and investing with enjoying life along the way!

Paid off primary residence plus 5 mill. 52 (when I become an empty nester). HCOL but mostly traveling.
5.5m FI in HCOL now but shooting for 10m+ for fatfire in CA or Globe hopping
$2.5M by age 45. Def leaving the US. Open to locations.
To save $10M, one needs to make ~$20M before taxes. That is difficult even for most consulting partners. Most Ps don’t get to $1M gross income mark until 3rd 4th year and even the top senior Ps don’t exceed $2-3M a year easily at the peak of their careers.
I don’t know what kind of trajectory will lead to $10M savings at 35. Maybe joining a firm before IPO or starting a new business can lead to that.
Agree with you OW - def by no means the norm but it’s possible. Lol this is why my SO and I hesitate to move to HCOL/VHOL cities on our salaries. We are worth around 2M at 31 but in our peer set in big cities, we don’t know if it’s in our budget. Also I think these kind of massive NWs in 30s is very unusual given insane market performance especially in the last year or so.
2m by 35. LCOL country on the beach
