Your right career is not sprint but if you learn in good amount of experience in terms of work and office environment. You can handle anything in next coming career
Thats true
I think genz learn very quickly. Problem is boomers are stubborn and most of them do lot of politics and we can't Handel that.
And main important the solution they provide is not at all good compared to new solution which are more easy and adaptable
I changed 3 company in 1 year
Really liked your point sde1. I myself is a genZ with 2 YOE and have worked on 2 projects. I learnt a lot from my seniors, and they provided me a lot of smart solutions that can be implemented in a lot of places. The experience is the key.
For both projects it took me 2-3 months to understand the product architecture and start working efficiently.
So, everytime switching is never the solution in early phases. We should learn to tackle the difficulties faced.
And for 10-15 yrs experienced person, their responsibilities are changed which are far supreme than us, as we know whom to go when we are stuck, and they provide us solution. This kind of thing a 5-6 yoe person can't provide us🤷🏻♂️ unless he is an exception.
Last 1 year, the industry has been so unstable, those who were hired overpaid are either being fired now or there offer letters are being revoked.
I also think same. I myself is having 2 yoe and now I am confident to make a switch. I thought for the first 3-4 years a person should more focus to learn rather earn. Career is a marathon not a sprint.
But, now I feel my analogy is wrong.
