Accenture 🐠.. final round in person interview coming up for manager role with MD first then case interview w/sr mgr. Confused about case after MD interview. Why? What to expect?
Anyone in Chicago hiring ADs???????
Hi all, currently in B4 tax and trying to get in a pre-IPO company. Which role has more growth opportunities in general? General accounting? Or more tax specialized role. At manager level if that matters.
Might get an offer from a big pharma company for a senior manager role. Any thoughts on what compensation I should ask for? Glassdoor has a wide range. I have 5 YOE.
PSA for all you jokers languishing at LGA taxi entrance: Have your driver get off an exit or two earlier and take the city streets to the Marriott LGA where a ped bridge awaits. Can save you 60 min+
I feel like I can’t redeem my career. I’ve been out of paying work since I graduated. My bar was delayed due to a medical problem and since then I’ve only been able to find volunteering. I’ve been working for free for 2 years now. My network is tapped, my mentors are confused why I can’t find anything, my law school’s career services actually gave up on me, I don’t have the money to move to a new place, I have no other support and I can’t even go back to retail because nobody’s hiring out here.
Looking for a strong resource to join a tiger team focused on managing and supporting large scale pursuits and partnerships in the provider space ($1B+ deals) at Optum. The role isn’t consulting but aligned very closely and hyper focused on closing very robust diligence efforts that are similar to a diagnostic assessment. Preferred big 4 experience that loves PMO and due diligence with a smile. 2nd year BA or 1st year C). DM me if interested.
Does Sr consultant at Deloitte map more closely to a Sr associate role at Pwc or Manager?
Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). I received my PHR certification in September 2020 and sitting for my SHRM-CP in two weeks. I’m having a hard time transitioning into a full Generalist position.
I currently make $132k and have not had a IRA. Is it worth opening one if I expect my next raise to bring me above $139K (which is the income limit for a single)?
4.5 YOE in NYC, 2 years were in consulting and 2.5 in industry. What salary range (base and TC) can I expect for an exit opp?
When should you exit from consulting? At which level? When you feel how? With how % salary increase?
I need an opinion. I've been considering changing my H-1B to F-1. Reason being that my current job is taking an immense toll on my health. I don't think taking a leave of absence would help since I now fundamentally just don't agree with the career and feel hopeless. My exit opportunities are very limited because it'd likely be a job of the same nature as the one I have. I'd be hard, but I'm willing to go back to school to study something else and try a different career. Is this doable?
What's the budget of IBM for lateral hiring on band 07b, for 8.1 years experience (java full stack developer)?
Currently work at AWS in Business Intelligence and am looking to transfer into Product Management. Looking at MBB eventually. In my experience, most people from MBB have FAANG as their exit op. Why?
How do you go about finding a role abroad with little foreign language skills? I’d love the opportunity work somewhere in East Asia but I have no idea how to approach it
Accenture fish, do I apply first then you submit your referrals, or do you submit your referrals first then I can apply from the special link I receive from your referral?
I’m leaving my firm, and a prospective employee (who went to my law school and is actually unknowingly applying to fill the position I’m vacating) reached out to me after her interview via e-mail to ask about my experience at the firm. Can I contact her to answer her questions about the position? I can’t see why it would be a problem, but something is giving me pause and I can’t put my finger on why. Thoughts?
Defeated. First few years of agency life were fine. In the past year things have been turbulent - one agency was full of management that would openly mock, and in current role, I haven't (cont'd)
in BCG’s Zoom interview guide they’re suggesting to use Zoom’s whiteboard function now - did or has anyone actually been using this instead of pen/paper?
Any insights on Protiviti’s data and analytics space? and also on so called ‘WLB’? 9years in analytics in Big 4 and looking to switch if that helps.
Got hit up by a recruiter for a position I'm actually (for once) interested in. The only thing is that I know the people running the business quite well. What do I do?
Considering a role with Deloitte as a Con/Senior Con Engagement Financial Advisor anyone with insight into the pay range? Trying not to end up being underpaid again and being in a fair range.
Red flag when the interviewers all say how busy the group is? I mean, isn’t that the point of hiring? But if I get an offer I don’t want to show up and be absolutely destroyed with work. I can’t get a feel if it’s humanely busy or inhumanely busy. If I get an offer, is there a way to diplomatically probe this further? Current associates have been there awhile which I took as a goodish sign.
Have an interview for a project I don't really want but don't want to burn the bridges. Any recommendations?
Kpmg global services vs Deloitte consulting.. ServiceNow opening.. Which one would you suggest. Looking for good WLB and transparent team
Is there a hiring freeze for EY PI-Finance?
Hello! I have an upcoming interview with a hiring manager for a non-tech position (Tax). I would like to ask a few questions on the interview process and the next steps. Can anyone please help? I will DM and hopefully we discuss further.
At a B4 now. I want to stay in consulting. Should I be considering any other firms besides MBB and T2?
Interviewed at Big 4. Never discussed compensation, however when i filled out the online app I put a high but ‘safe’ number. They extended an offer with my original amount,is it too late to negotiate?
Please DM me if you are looking on selling Marriott points. I am short on points for a vacation
A tech firm reached out, and I had a 30-min call with a CD. Went well and I agreed to more interviews. Turns out the next round is a “4-hour panel WebEx interview”. Their creative dept isn’t well established, so is it wrong for me to politely say “4 hours is a big investment, can we briefly chat about salary range, title, etc”? I kinda don’t want to go down this road for a lateral title and who-knows-what salary. If it was a better-known in-house shop, I’d go with the flow.
How different is interview prep for HBS Vs GSB Vs Wharton? Just trying to estimate amount of effort I’d need to put in if I get an invite (given already crazy hours at work)
