Hi fellow salesfolk,

I'm planning to move from Europe to Montréal, Canada in the next few months with my partner. I want to experience living abroad for a while + I loved my time there as an exchange student.

I've built my career in SaaS: 1 year as an all-round BDR, 2 years as a mid-market AE (closed some enterprise too, beat my targets and was nr 1) and now I'm in a BDR manager position for 6 months.

Is finding a job realistic? AE roles is where I shine the best. I speak both FR and EN

I've spent 18 months working in digital transformation and back office operations within financial services. I am now interviewing with 2 firms for digital transformation roles (higher position obvs). Is it too late to get out of this? I really don't like digital transformation and would love to get a more strategic position/ work for a more strategic firm.

I have a panel interview at Apple for a legal position coming up. It will include, I’ve been told by the recruiter, two drafting exercises during the all-day interview. Any insight from current employees or someone who has gone through the process on what it looked it and whether there were any curveballs/weird questions/difficult exercises?

Hi! I accepted an offer about two months ago and have been working full time since. (I know my title says intern, but I'm not anymore, it won't let me change it lol)
Now someone I know, with less experience, just got hired for the same position as me with the same salary AND a sign on bonus.

Should I renegotiate my salary/ask for a delayed sign on bonus, or is it too late? Any tips on what to do, or should I just deal with it?

I’m thinking of going back to the gov at my old agency and have a final round scheduled this week. I left because there were a lack of opportunities and growth where I was and the new position would be in a different division where everyone I know who works there loves their job. Pay would likely include a descent (15%) raise since we’re on a pay band system, but I’m worried I’m taking a step backward going from a SC up for M to a cog in a office. Curious if anyone’s ever thought of going back.

Looking into leasing a new car and wondering if it makes sense to pay any fees/taxes upfront or roll everything into monthly payments? I don’t like the idea of paying interest on fees I can afford to pay but I’m reading it’s better to not put any money down in case something happens to the car—you’re completely out the money. That being said the lease does come with gap insurance. Money factor of 0.0015 (3.6% interest). I’m thinking at least pay the title/registration.
