How to get off campus jobs as a fresher?

How to declare NPS in FBP
Growing like crazy (even before COVID boom) so results in faster progression relative to other practices. While PwC overall is Vertical oriented, Salesforce is equally as strong as an overall“competency” (across verticals) and we cross staff people all the time especially between certain industries (consumer and industrial all the time, financial services sometimes, and healthcare sometimes). Overall great place to be, good leaders invested in development - I will caution you though it is definitely more business led vs technical led. Tech expertise is highly valued but honestly more business focused. Happy to refer!
Growing very fast. Career progression is very good although it gets stressful.
I have been part of the firm for past 5 years.
Things I like:
1. Type of work. High profile high risk projects. Def intellectually stimulating. No chance you would be staffed on a project that is staff aug stuff like other firms.
2. Career progression is pretty good.
3. Competitive pay. Base salary, performance bonus (which is pretty good), hot skill bonus (for certain groups. And Salesforce is one of them. Can change annually).
4. Brand
5. Business Acumen: You will work with industry leads and experts, and cross business teams as one team. So much scope for knowledge growth.
6. Enterprise tools (personally I like google products and ability to collaborate with them
Things I don’t like:
1. Stress. Stress. Stress. I don’t remember a project where it was fun and easy.
2. While our GTM approach allows us to go deep into industry specific solutions (which also aligns with where Salesforce is moving towards in terms of product strategy) but it creates silos among ourselves.
Base salary has nothing to do with high performance and the increases are average when compared to others.
As for the careers promos, every 2-3 years mostly applies to the first jump to be an SA, after that it's not the norm. I have seen a lot of folks left hanging for Manager promo even after 3 years as an SA and ultimately left.
The high performers again is subjective and depends on the partner alignment mostly rather than actual work.
Not saying PwC is the worst place to work, lol, but trying to keep it real.
Stay away
Thanks a lot for your response that has 0 context.
On the contrary, I feel being technical you can become critical to projects and RFPs. If you do well, then there’s no stopping you. I posted this a few days back and happy to connect, refer or share about a day in the life at PwC.
As an Interview Ambassador for Salesforce practice at PwC, this is one of the usual questions I get. To share the breadth of knowledge I have personally gained:
On Enterprise implementations, I got hands-on experience in Sales, Community, my beloved Service, and the new products like Consumer Goods and even the latest Loyalty Cloud. In terms of domain knowledge, I worked in some capacity like implementations, proposals, or guiding peers across verticals like Financial Services, Healthcare, Energy, Technology, and my favorite Retail.
While Big 4 are known to be notorious for work life balance, feel the tide is changing especially with lot of emphasis on BWWW - be well, work well at PwC. I do see difference from top level leadership and even Directors in respecting personal time. There are exception, times or projects, where we have to stretch but it all depends on individual’s goals as well.
Come to Slalom lol
Slalom recruiting team is trying to poach me for 2 years. I did not like their product specific service line. In PwC, I was able to work wide range of salesforce products like CPQ, FSL, Sales Cloud Service Cloud, nCino. Also, their regional staffing model is kind of detrimental to pool talent.
Just curious- what kind of work you generally do ? Advisory Consulting or more of staff aug ?
Happy to refer here . Salesforce continues to go gangbusters
Do you really want to jump from one GSI to another? Why do you want to change? Feel free to DM me about positions with PolSource. Fast growing Platinum partner working with great logos on interesting projects. Solid leadership with an awesome culture.

I passed all tech interview at big 4 and several other SI, but failed at polsource. 😱
Feel to reach out if any referrals required.
vertically focused. too functional or too technical (with the latter less prioritized for promotions as you move up the levels, just my observation). if you prefer to learn more about the industry, this is a great place to be.
Exceptional place for talented people looking to be challenged, wanting to be part of a high performing team, and willing to work hard to grow and make innovation happen. Lots of growth coming with meaningful opportunities for significant progression...will double the practice next few years and will create a lot of new partners in the process. New strategy will be great for this practice.
Growing but not on par with Accenture, Slalom, Deloitte, or IBM for that matter.
Better than KPMG.
When I think of digital transformation/technology consulting around products like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud, I don't think of PwC. I think of Accenture.
I see PwC heading in a good direction, but if you're already working for Accenture, why step down into another large SI/consultancy? It would be the same-ish sort of work but for a lesser brand.
Is pay/salary compression an issue? Often, there are other ways to manage that without having to leave your job.
Otherwise, certainly a storied company. I know a lot of smart people working there. Much respect for their CPQ work! And I'm sure they'll continue to grow--everyone is.

Got poached too, and passed the tech interview for SM position last week. Waiting for the next step.🤫
I hear they don’t value tech talent and get the corresponding results that come from this mindset. Can someone from PwC give an honest response?
I am a very technical person and been part of firm for past 5 years. Technical people are fairly in minority compared to functional people. And that’s an advantage until you become a director.
For example, lot of people find and reach out to me specifically for my opinion on RFPs. You would not have that recognition if you are one of the bunch of functional people.
The most important thing anyone needs to have once they reach director or above level is that, establishing key relationships with client sponsors, partners and other key stakeholders. As long as you develop that skill in lower ranks, you will be seen valuable. In fact, you will be incredibly powerful director who can manage key relationships while leading teams and solving problems with tactical skills.
Lot of tech folks don’t develop that skill and ended up complaining that firms don’t care their tech skills very well.
In all honesty, I am one of those people who struggle to learn that skill (relationships). Focusing on that more than ever before
Hey I’m in PwC’s Salesforce practice and would love to refer you. I’ve been here almost 2 years and it’s pretty chill

How is Pwc Salesforce Compared to AFS Salesforce practice? Culture, WLB, pay structure, etc?
