I have an upcoming interview with on of the FAANG companies that was previously a client of mine. Is it ok to speak to the recruiter/interviewer about the details of the project I worked on. Or is that frowned upon and I should anonymize the project details?

When a recruiter contacts you to say “your background is of interest to me” for “a role I have been contracted to fill”, have they actually been specifically contacted by the firm, and maybe should be treated more like a hiring manager who is truly evaluating you? Or are they simply matching you to some posting they can see online and trying to set up a recruiting relationship with you? Fine either way, just want to know.

Need a tool for bottoms up FTE planning. Assume scenarios where duration and workstreams and evening effort will change frequently. Also overlaps of workstreams (or waves if you will) will also change as people try to save cost and time. Any recommendations for what tool could support this easily ? Excel and pivot just get way too messy. Thinking tableau and use visualizations somehow. Other thoughts or tools you have used ?

Thoughts about moving to Denver ? Is it a good place for consulting ?
