Opposing counsel, acting pro se, just sent me an email, alleging I had ex parte communication with the Court, because I efiled a motion. He consented to receiving electronic filings. Not sure what he is talking about.

Legal question: In a subrogation case, in order to prove the subrogee’s right to assert the claim, wouldn’t the subrogee have to introduce the agreement giving such rights? Without stipulation, wouldn’t the sub have to present the agreement to the jury?
I have a case where the P/sub doesn’t want to turn over the agreement bc of a confidentiality clause in it. Is there such thing as presenting it to the jury at trial under seal?

Sometimes I question my decision to come to America. I attended a university in my home country ranked well above most ivy leagues - yet American lawyers give no respect to foreign qualifications and I have to prove myself on an individual basis time and time again. To make matters worse, US legal qualifications and experience aren’t highly regarded back home - as people there consider US legal education and practice to be politicized and unscholarly.
