Opposing counsel wants to force in person deposition even though I put in writing that I have a medical condition making me susceptible to covid. Should I admit I’m pregnant if it goes to motions?

you saying you have a condition, or a doctors note saying you have a condition, without actually disclosing the condition is more than enough. Opposing counsel will look like an idiot if he pushes it.

What are counsel’s reasons for wanting an in person deposition? Realistically you may have to disclose it at some point, but I’d request a conference before it gets to that point and see what the court rules. That way you can verbally explain it to the court and have them make a decision

Bro how is every medical provider so booked. Called in a place for dental cleaning and the receptionist literally said ‘I am in luck’ that she is able to get me in on May 28th 2022 at 4:15pm. I told her that’s fine coz I won’t have any teeth left to be cleaned by then

Anyone else randomly get mad at something that happened to you as a kid? For example, I was in a meeting this afternoon and out of nowhere, I reminded myself of my Little League days when my coach embarrassed me in front of my team for being the first baseman who couldn’t afford a first baseman’s glove. I mean I was playing the field just fine with a Nomar Garciaparra glove that was a little too small for my hand 🤷‍♂️

I’d like to know if I’m being stupid for being underpaid. I’m currently being paid 80k as an A2 in TAS (HCOL), however I’ve been an “acting senior” for the past 6 months. I have great flexibility and I’m treated well at my current firm. And my office is only 20mins away. If I left, I’d join as a senior and make 20k more, but I may give up flexibility, and the commute would be longer. I’m a single father with young kids, so flexibility is important to me. Career goals = partner. Any opinions?
