Does Deloitte use Teams or Skype?
I just started an investment network for angels/accredited investors to get connected with startups and small businesses. We have 20 pitches and many more building pitches, but struggling to onboard accredited investors. Anyone have any advice/ideas for outreach?? Really passionate and willing to work any channel to expand our network. Thanks you!

Gone in a heartbeat
Lmao they are only paying managers $135k at Deloitte?
Bahahahahahahahahah
Quitting Deloitte was one of happiest memories of my younger years.
👍. Heard bonus at S& are pretty good too - like 30-40% right ?

Deloitte is a sinking ship. Leave while you can before other jobs are snagged up. I left a few months ago and haven’t looked back.

Deloitte has a huge tech practice. Not sure about PwC and EY.
No amount of $ can make up the Deloitte reputation 🤔 Stick around 👍
As a Deloitte alum - the name brand is meh, at best. It’s also harder to leave Deloitte with a decent exit opp than a max security prison escape.
Leave D. The answer is always leave D
ALWAYS.
I’d stay at Deloitte honestly
Interesting, what's your reasoning?

There’s no point in staying in consulting guys. Consulting is just a training ground so that you can have the prerequisites to exit to a tech job paying twice as much with less hours, no travel, less stress, no cpe, and better advancement opps. Big 4 / acn can’t compete with tech salaries or lifestyle period.
Life moves on do something new and exciting
Leave! You can always boomerang back.
Thanks all, I went with Option 2. Sad to leave my team though! 😢

100% leave you’re not valued at Deloitte and can be replaced in an instant
Fintech for sure
It depends. What does the fintech do? Not all fintech companies / startups are the same.
The valuation / upside for the below Fintech specializations wildly vary.
1. BNPL is hot af right now, but it's also a very competitive environment
2. Payments processing is dominated by the likes of PayPal, Stripe, Adyen, and Square
3. Open banking is incredibly hot right now but has issues around ecosystem maturity
All three of these specializations wildly vary in terms of competition, upside, and compensation. These three are only a few to give you an example. So without more info, can't really provide the best advice on what you should do.
Consulting will always be there . If the new role is right, leave
Why wouldn’t you just stay at D to get the retention bonus and then leave
Retention bonus requires staying for 12 months (or would have to be repaid)
Leave
I’d stay at D

Dan, that you?
How old are you? Got kids & a family? If you can take the risk go for it, if not stay at D

I know someone who boomerang’d back after a year long stint at a start up so that is also an option if you’ve built good relations with your team
Leave, you can always boomerang back to D..going to fintech will open up an array of opportunities..
