My final paycheck last year got cut on 12/31, including about a $2500 401(k) contribution. That deposit did not hit my 401(k) account until Jan. 3, 2022 because of the holiday. Does that get counted against my 2021 or 2022 contribution limit?
Transitioning from junior in house at a very small company where I only did small easy contract review to a large multinational corporation in a few weeks, and have those weeks off. Does anyone have any book recommendations I can read until then that actually offer good insight and helpful tips?!

If my HR and Manager ask me "What can we do to retain you?", I would reply that - "I want to see a change in TCS' hike policy, to make it to a minimum 10% hike every year, for all employees."
Went out last night and met this woman. We had a good vibe and she asked for my IG so she can message me. Got home that night and she messaged “give me a follow 😉” but saw her account was just to advertise her OF.
So was she actually into me or was she just handling business?

I’m a consultant in IAM, but frankly IAM has been really not interesting. Almost like IT Auditing but with some more technicality. Not for me long term. What does one do at this stage? Try to switch to another team in Cyber? Soon to be promoted to a senior, so contemplating my choices. I’d really like something more hands on and less identity focused (selling products and implementing them). Currently in Big4.

I am an office coordinator at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and want to break into the field of research. MSK has research coordinator roles, however when I initially applied after graduating, I didn’t get any interviews. I have minimal experience with research from undergrad. Hello! I have 9 years total of healthcare experience and 5 years of that I was a Residential supervisor for a brain injury rehabilitation. I don’t have a degree only college credits I’m trying to obtain a Psychology degree. I’ve been applying to countless jobs on Indeed and barely get an call backs for an interview. I’d say out of the 50 jobs I applied for I only got 4 interviews. Is anyone else extremely frustrated with being out of work? :(

Currently in outpatient ortho PT. Been in the career for several years and I’ve enjoyed it but I’m wanting to look for other opportunities outside of patient care. No interest in doing a residency or teaching. I’ve been thinking of doing an MBA but unsure of what opportunities out there such as admin roles, ortho sales, consulting, etc. I’ve taken several business classes in undergrad and enjoyed them. Looking for advice on career transition and whether an MBA is worth it. Thanks!

Can't say for certain but feel like you could budge and get $2-3 more an hour. Living in Florida, I'd bet $42/hr goes a but further than living in New York or California though.
Thanks for the input. I feel like it should be more too. Considering inflation and competitive rates from other companies
I'd talk to someone at Aya or one of those agencies and weight your rate side by side with that of other OR nurses. That'll be the indicator to jump ship or keep going.
If you factor in living expenses and the inflation, I'm sure you're due for a raise. Open it up with your admin.
I would think more given that you have more than a decade experience PLUS you hold a certification. I would ask for 45 an hour. I have been a MS/Tele nurse for 5 years and will be starting OR nursing in two weeks and they offered me 37.25. You have twice the experience as me in that specialty. Ask for more
Thats the standard rate out there
