I find Barry’s to be a better workout but the convenience of Orange Theory (cheaper classes, more locations) is tough to beat. That said, if you are based in Barry’s cities, I would go with Barry’s

Love both. Try doing Barry’s a couple times a month thru classpass and a 2times per week OT membership. Works really well if you travel to smaller cities during the week but have a home office in a Barry’s city. Barry’s is much more intense and has a more fun vibe in my opinion!

Hi everyone! Can anyone tell me what you make as a typical banquet/events manager for salary or per hour? I’ve worked for Marriott/Bonvoy at the Ritz and for the Curio Collection with Hilton as a bartender/server/banquets captain. Now I’m working for a privately owned hotel and as a manager role in Banquets/Events. Because of pandemic times, what is everyone else making?

Is RPA sales engineering a good career pivot now? Have been in Cloud SE for 5 years and it is getting mundane. Forget about the Data and AI, realistically majority of the work is around VM migration + RFP + Pricing + pushing commit 2x more than customer's current need, instead of really adding technical and business value to the customer.

RPA seems to be on the rise, there are certainly risk but the value + technology seems to be closer to reality. Love to hear more.

Has anyone here lived around 23st & 11ave? What is it like? Ideally would’ve loved to live in the west village but it’s too $$$ and figuring Chelsea maybe can be okay — just concerned that 11ave might feel too isolated and far west? Any insights here would be great! I’m currently living in LES with everything pretty much down the street

When leaving KPMG for another company, what are the payouts, if any? (Unused vacation days, etc) And is a 401k rollover required, or can you stay with Merrill Lynch?

like

I’m graduating from my MSA program and I have two offers:

1) FDD @ KPMG

2) CMAAS @ PwC (trying to move offer to valuations)

I want to use these TAS roles to move into more M&A advisory roles like IB/Corp Dev. PwC comp is a decent amount higher due to the $10k salary increase so it makes the decision a bit harder. Would CMAAS make it impossible to make the jump to IB-type roles due to how much technical accounting is involved?
