Other graphic designers: what’s your freelance rate? I want to know I’m low balling myself at my current rate.

I’m currently in the wealth management field and has been there for the last three years. I always wanted to try different industry like tech, automotive or renewable energy but I am bit scared to start from the scratch again. I am currently at slightly above 100k per year and switching to other industry would most likely mean lower pay entry level job. Any advice on that matter ?

I received an assessment from Amazon, and it says I have 7 days to complete the assessment but the recruiter says I have 30 days to complete the assessment but the link expires in 7 days. I asked for clarification and she said I need to schedule a date (not more than 30days after receiving the assessment link) I can complete the assessment by. Has anyone taken an assessment from Amazon recently? Could you please clarify this for me. I sent the recruiter a message but haven’t heard back.

How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.

After 3 interviews I was told that I was highly regarded for the position but they went with someone else. It is the closetest I've gotten to getting any position in my year of job searching and I didn't get it. I'm ready to give up.
