Other than contributing to your 401k and IRA, what other long-term investment options would you guys recommend? Any specific ETFs or index funds?

Vanguard funds have really low fees

Vanguard and maybe a risky fund

The younger you are the more you can afford risk. If you can figure out when you wanna retire, how much you wanna have when that time comes, what kind of lifestyle you wanna live - it would help you allocate your investments early on.

I have been using Vanguard predominantly to do any investments. What specific funds in Vanguard would you recommend? Some risky and other safer ones?

How old are ya? That's a big factor - if you're in your 20s go for a risky one

In my 20s

Don't just focus on the portfolio manager. Expand your search to meeting your goals. ETFs that mimics the market (for long term investment) is almost always good then mix it up with ETFs that tracks commodities, tech, industrials might be good for you.

Salary check. I’m a Marketing Director for a small SaaS startup. I make $95k with no benefits. I’m the only person in my marketing department and also have my foot in the sales department, growing both departments by myself. I have 7 years of professional experience in marketing and sales. There are some red flags at this company and I’ve been here for almost 11 months. If I were to start looking for another job, I’m thinking I can apply for $130k-$150k, any thoughts?

Anybody looking for an internal strategy consulting position at a health insurance company in Newark, NJ? I'm very close friends with the recruiter and I figured to pass this job along. They're looking for 2-3 years experience with a top management consulting firm or 3+ years of equivalent industry experience required. The role will pay up to $120K base plus 10% bonus. I know TC is low but figured to see if anyone's interested.

Hi! I am working on a new business idea but can’t get anywhere because I’m working too many hours (60+). I’m a marketer with 20+ years experience and an MBA but happy to do anything. Thank you in advance for your help!!
