I was constantly tired when I was in law school, even when I improved my diet and exercised regularly. I described my issue to my PCP and she recommended that I see a psychiatrist. Turns out what I thought was regular tiredness was depression. Once I got on a regimen of antidepressants (it took a bit of trial and error to find the right combo of meds), I began to feel relief from near constant weariness. Your issue might be a neurological imbalance, talk to a psychiatrist or psych RN to find out if that’s the case (or eliminate it as a cause of your issue)!

Stress is a big drag on energy, even if it’s subconscious. It’s worth assessing if there is anything specific in your life creating unusual pressure or stress and then if/how you can address it. This could be something that is very difficult to neutralize, e.g. your job itself, but maybe being aware of how it is affecting you will help.

Do you have low iron? Not necessarily from diet but when you’re menstruating. Iron supplements may help
It’s good to mix things up to get a wide range of nutrients. Watercress is excellent.
Have you ever had a comprehensive, integrative blood panel and hormone screening (by a specialist, not your PCP)? I’m 27, no kids and had testing done for an unrelated reason. Turns out I had a severe hormone imbalance and as soon as I fixed that (plus a few vitamins added where I was specifically lacking), my energy levels improved dramatically!
A severe vitamin D deficiency was the culprit for my fatigue/sour mood. A daily vitamin D supplement made a huge difference!
Yes! This!! Especially in winter when days/hours of sunlight are short (not that we get out much anyway).

Do you currently drink lots of caffeine to artificially give you the energy you need? I was going that for years and it was a vicious cycle. I would literally have a half of pot of coffee at home and that get a venti latte at Starbucks on my way into work. I was killing my adrenals. I cut back to only decaf over a 2 Period (actually easier than I expected — my family was afraid for their lives at first). Initially it was hard but then I had more energy (provided getting a decent # of hours of sleep etc) because my body wasn’t dependent on the drug of caffeine.
I got a purple mattress and I'm more rested than ever. And my thyroid levels are normal now.
You may want to see your doctor and do blood work. Try supplementation, eg, green tea, coffee, etc.
