I just did a similar job search and felt there really aren’t that many options in NYC. Some that come to mind:
- Regeneron is in Tarrytown so you could live in the city.
- Organon is in Jersey City
Otherwise would look into remote roles that would allow you to stay in NYC.

Thanks for the quick replies. Should have specified that I’m specifically interested in NYC (Manhattan), not NJ
There’s a ton of them in the northern NJ area. It’s an easy reverse commute
What does a typical director comp package look like at BMS vs. e.g. Novartis?
Also Director bonus got bumped to a target of 23% instead of 20%
I’d be very cautious about BMS and J&J at the moment. Make sure you do your homework on the hiring group.

Curious to understand which groups are toxic/ to stay away from?
Yeah there’s nothing else in NYC, unless you are looking at smaller start ups or something. We used to also have Forest but that was acquired.
How did you guys go about interviewing with them? Did you apply online or connected with recruiters
