Others SCs wonder if the residual impact of Covid will prevent them from promotion to Manager. I’m focused on what comes after “Chief” here on the 🐠 bowl. What do the mods have in store for me. What I’d really like, just once, is for the mods who watch us here in the 🐠 🍲 to drop in, Truman Show style, and let us know how we’re doing. Are you entertained? Disappointed? Throw us a bone here.

What makes you think that the mods have a better position than yours? Why would want an “atta-boy” from a nameless entity that you do not know (or know what their rationale is for giving you that atta-boy)?

How does one attain these mystical badges?

Additionally, I’d like to welcome A1 to their first day on the internet! 👏

I did not take OP as INTENDING to be silly at all.

Hi! I am a pharmacy technician trainer in New England and I'm interested in salaries in Virginia. Currently up north, I make $26.11/hr to train new techs and pharmacists and have received a raise every year since 2019. Is this there anything even comparable in VA? I have 3 years experience and an associates degree in health science. Is it even worth looking?

I know crew gets paid a dollar less than me yet a do a lot ( its part of my job ) I asked for a raise I was told wait 3 months. Waited I asked again was told I needed to do this this and that. I feel like I'm under paid, but I love my job and crew.

Any quitted big 4 right after a year? I got delayed with good rating but with the reason of not getting enough experiences (I took 3 months study leave). I also got assigned to busy files and for 70% of my file I worked till 10/11. Since WFH starts I completely lost the boundary of work/life and got depressed.
I realized it's not the life I want and I got burned out and cried all the time. During COVID I realize it's hard to find a job... any suggestions? I can't hold on anymore

I have $20k in savings, I owe $6,000 to my 401k loan, that’s the only loan I got. I am debt free otherwise except for my house. Should I use my savings to pay off? I initially took the loan to add to my home equity when I sell my house for a new house then covid hit.

I’m interviewing at EY bc my current firm has an awful culture & revoked its program to sponsor graduate studies. Also they didn’t give us our quarterly bonuses (pre-covid), year end, and didn’t promote any of current associates but proceeded to hire new grads at full salaries (during covid). EY didnt sell me on culture and said they don’t do enough and there probably won’t be much change for the next year. I’m thinking of taking EY’s offer but unsure bc It may be the same situation. Thoughts?

Did anyone who got Moderna vaccine get a flare up of seborrheic dermatitis?

I got my first flare up of this autoimmune condition 5 days after my first Moderna dose and it’s only gotten worse since (I have been doing treatment). I was doing some research online how covid patients in hospitals got the condition so I wasn’t sure if it would be related to the 2 doses of Moderna vaccine. Just thought I would ask if it happened to anyone else.

Maybe it was just a coincidence too

US Green Card sponsorship question

How do you start the conversation about GC sponsorship with your employer? I feel it could be read as "he's trying to get out of the company" and yes having more options is a part of my motivation but also I want to buy a house and if for whatever reason I get laid off, I could more likely find another job without them having to sponsor a visa etc.
What's a good way to negotiate this?

Edit: on TN, 2 years till expiration

TIA
